StVZO Standard Design Notes

Some bike lights on this website use the StVZO standard beam pattern design, which reduces glare for oncoming traffic and improves cycling safety.

⚠️ Please note: These lights have not yet received official StVZO certification (K number). In Germany, only lights officially certified by the StVZO are legal for road use.

Therefore, the bike lights on this website that use the StVZO standard design are primarily intended for off-road, mountain biking, private use, or use by cyclists who do not require StVZO certification. If you ride on the road in an area that requires StVZO-certified bike lights, please ensure that you use fully StVZO-certified bike lights to comply with local regulations.
