Jasper Philipsen pipped Elia Viviani in a dramatic photo finish to claim his second victory in the Vuelta a España 2025 after clinching the opening stage.
The 27-year-old Belgian completed the 163.5km flat sprint in three hours 43 minutes and 48 seconds ahead of Elia Viviani and Ethan Vernon, surviving a chaotic race conclusion.
Torstein Træen remains in the red jersey for another day.
