Q1: How does the smart brake sensing function work on the TL03 tail light, and can I turn it off?

Yes, you have full control! The TOWILD TL03 is equipped with a highly sensitive brake sensor that highlights for 1 second when you slow down, maximizing your safety in traffic. If you ride in a peloton or group and want to turn it off to save battery, simply press and hold the switch for 3 seconds while the light is on (the light will flash 3 times to confirm it's off). Repeat the same step to turn it back on.

Q2: What is the difference between "Intelligent Mode" and "Manual Mode" (Auto On/Off feature)?

 By double-clicking the power button, you can easily switch between modes.

  • In Intelligent Mode, the light acts as an auto on/off bike light: it goes to sleep automatically after 2 minutes of inactivity and wakes up instantly when it detects vibration. It also features a daylight sensor (no flicker during the day) to save battery life.
  • In Manual Mode, the light will never sleep and stays on continuously until you manually turn it off.
Q3: How long does the battery last, and how do I know when to recharge my TL03?

The TL03 offers excellent battery life tailored for long rides. It features 5 lighting modes: Always On (18h), Single Flash (32h), Breathing Flash (30h), Rotation Flash (30h), and Frequency Conversion Flashing (up to 36 hours). It uses convenient Type-C charging. You can check the battery level via the 4-grid indicator on the front: 4 lights mean 75%-100%, 3 lights mean 50%-70%, 2 lights mean 25%-50%, and 1 light means it's below 25% and time to recharge.

Q4: Is the TOWILD TL03 lightweight and completely waterproof for extreme weather?

Absolutely. Designed with aerodynamic road bikes and competitive cycling in mind, the TL03 net weight is only 20g (without the bracket), adding zero drag to your ride. Furthermore, it boasts an IPX6 Waterproof rating, meaning it can easily withstand heavy rain, mud splashes, and extreme outdoor weather conditions.

Q5: Can I mount the TL03 on both my saddle and my aero seat post?

Yes! The TL03 comes with versatile mounting accessories right out of the box.
