2025 Vuelta a España Stage 3 - Monday 25 August - won by David Gaudu

David Gaudu of Groupama-FDJ took a shock stage three victory after a late surge past Mads Pedersen in the final metres.

Lidl-Trek had controlled the short 134.6 km stage in hilly terrain, and favourite Pedersen looked prime for victory in the last two hundred metres, only to run out of steam as Gaudu's sprinted past.

Jonas Vingegaard of Visma-Lease a Bike took in third place to maintain his overall lead.
