After surviving a chasing pack that included double Olympic mountain bike champion Tom Pidcock, the Australian secured his fourth Vuelta stage win on the flat uphill finale.
Movistar Team completed the podium behind Vine, with Spanish duo Pablo Castrillo Zapater and Javier Romo coming second and third, respectively. Despite a spirited performance from Torstein Træen, his margin to the top of the general ranking sits at 26 seconds behind leader Jonas Vingegaard.
